Nick Brimelow

Nick started playing at the age of 11 and within a few months had joined Bolton Schools Brass Band on Bass Trombone. It was at the Bolton Music Centre and Turton High School where he had most of his early playing experiences. In 1997 Nick was asked to play 2nd Trombone for Eagley at the north-west area contest in Blackpool and later decided to stay on for what would be a further 5 years on this seat. However, in the summer of 2002 the departure of the bands Solo Trombone led to a promotion. Nick currently works at Novartis Vaccines in Liverpool and has been the band secretary for the last 5 years.
