Debs Lyons
When Debs started secondary school at St James, Bolton, she was offered a range of brass instruments to try and found she could just about get a note out of the horn. In her own words; ’some would say she’s still trying!!’ In reality, she developed into a solid player and was soon a member at Eagley where she met her husband (solo horn – Pete Lyons). Twenty years later she is still here and now holds the enviable role of band treasurer.
